Nice. Well the kits are usually 600 yen with 480 shipping cost (for one off course) so 11$ isn't far off.

I need to find myself a pair of clipper to get the pieces off the runner. I built Chouryou with a friend of mine who is a major figure collector and she had the tools at her place. It was a fun little project. Got a panel line marker, metalic gold and metalic blue. For a first try I quite like the result I got with the paint. I just got into trouble when I tried to paint the shaft of his halberd in blue >< now its too thick to go through his hand properly. I need to get it off somehow.

Oh well.

I'm not into gundam AT ALL myself but I too love the BB Senshi design. I was a big fan of Dynasty Warrior 4 and 5 and read a good chunk of Romance of the Three Kingdom. So I first got Chouryou Gelgoog (big fan of Zhang Liao) and I liked the experience of building the little guy and putting my own touches with Gundam markers. With the recent shipping sales on HLJ I couldn't resist ordering some more!

I got the Zhang He Zaku III coming and I plan on turning all of his gold into metallic purple in a homage to the more...flamboyant... portrayal the character got in Dynasty Warrior. Probably with metalic blue for some highlight if it looks decent enough. He's going to be fabulous
