If Akibaranger does well I hope they will extend the series by giving it another "season", since Toei is reported to only plan around 15 episodes for this series.

Reading comments on youtube. Not a reliable place at all for Info I know, but...it explains a lot about her, I think.I also checked her Wiki page, seems as though she did use to work on pornography.

Probably. There's been quite a few ex-pornstars in Sentai. Hell, one got into G3 Princess-ojaru.

A couple of jokes seemed to be somewhat at the expense of otaku, which is weird considering that's the audience for this. But otherwise I thought it was good. Hopefully it'll do well enough that they do a half hour "movie" to double-bill with a proper Sentai one, or it gets another season. If nothing else, I'd like to see a full music video for the intro theme :anime:

Seriously? I can understand one on this show (didn't surprise me too much really), but I'm suprised to hear that people aren't giving a second thought to putting pornstars on kids shows.

The complaints would be based on fallacies, sure, but that would cause mass outrage in the states. People had issues when Katy Perry showed up on Sesame Street of all things.

In Japan, there's a greater tolerance of adult industry than in the America. I don't really have a problem with it, since kids don't know any better anyway. As long they do their job well they're A-OK in my book.
