Hey guys I just finished reading this article about why we love movies. The Game Overthinker did his own spin on the concept with The reasons we love videogames. I think it would be cool if we compiled a list like this, but for Tokusatsu then I can make video with all the reasons.

Here's a few I thought of:

because Spider-man has a giant Robot
because bad guys bleed sparks
because the bad guys always wait for you to finish your transformation and role call
because cool guys don't look at explosions
because of Gao Yellows English
because of Junichi's smile
because of Villains played by AV actors
because it's all Decade's fault
because it's probably a Golgom plot
because of Ultimate Dai-Bouken, Engine-Oh G12, Samurai Ha-oh, and Hyper Gosei Great
because Bandai laughs at our pain and drinks our tears
because you bought all the OOO medals
because you bought all the Gaia Memories
because you're trying to buy all the switches
because you're trying to buy all the Ranger keys
because of every guest appearance in Gokaiger
because of Shotaro ishinomori
because putting silver spoons over your eyes makes you ultraman
because of the Rider Kick
because of Burai
because of Signalman
because Kibaranger is a child

That's pretty much all I can think of I don't know much outside of Super Sentai and Kamen Rider.

because the heroes/heroines always henshin in an dramatic, awesome, ready-to-kick-ass way. because watching the heroes/heroines giving a heroic speech about justice and protecting the innocent as a pre-ass kicking liner is just badass.

Seriously though ... tokusatsu is great fun, it can tell amazing stories, and it can inspire you to want to be a better person
