Fallout Shelter Set for Android Launch Next Month
Bethesda Softworks officially announced today that Fallout Shelfter, the first-ever mobile game based on the Fallout franchise, is going to be released for Android devices for free on Google Play on August 13. The game was already available for iOS after its launch last month, but Android owners were curious when they would finally be able to get a chance to play the game on their own smartphones. They have to wonder no longer with Fallout Shelter’s upcoming launch for Android.
Fallout Shelter on Android will include all-new updates, which include the introduction of Mr. Handy, the ultimate robotic companion, as a premium reward. Players can use Mr. Handy to collect resources inside your vault, send him into the wasteland to collect loot, or defend your Vault from creatures and disasters. The Mr. Handy update will also be available on iOS versions of the game on the same day.
If you have iOS, you can find Fallout Shelter right now at the Apple App Store. Meanwhile, Fallout 4 is set to launch on November 10 for Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In addition, you can get a look at the Mr. Handy update from Fallout Shelter posted on Bethesda Softworks’ official Twitter account below:
