F1 2017 Gameplay Trailer Released
A brand new trailer has launched for the upcoming Formula 1 racing game from Codemasters. The F1 2017 gameplay trailer shows off exactly what players can expect to see fromt he game when it launches on August 25.
As well as giving fans a rundown of the new physics engine that is powering the game, making it a more realistic simulator of its real-life counterpart, the trailer also shows how racers will be able to get behind the wheel on the Monaco street circuit at night for the very first time.
“We know our fans have loved seeing the classic cars being revealed in the recent weeks, but we know they also want to see the new cars in action as well, said creative director Lee Mather. “The 2017 cars present their own unique challenge as they are incredibly fast but wider and heavier than before, therefore we have had to completely rework the physics system to refine the balance between aerodynamics and tyre grip.”
“Taking on Monaco is always a test of your skills and now we have added the ability to take to these iconic streets at night in both modern day and classic F1 cars. We think our fans are going to love it.”
The game is set to introduce a number of new short circuits that have not previously been seen in the franchise before. These include tracks in the USA, Bahrain, and Britain, as well as a fourth unannounced circuit. F1 2017 is also set to bring back a number of classic cars, giving players the chance to drive famous cars from history. The full list of announced classic cars can be seen below:
