Cozy Mechs and Cuddly Chaos: Animalkind Premieres New Trailer and Demo

Developed by Uncommon Games, Animalkind is an open world game about exploration and building. The game focuses on creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere as you hop around the world in your mech suit. All the while playing as a variety of cute and cuddle creatures, varying from cats and dogs to capybaras and raccoons.

The game has gone through two separate alpha tests, which hosted over a thousand signups. Considered a success, the game garner both intrigue and enthusiasm from the many participants that took part. They helped in shaping the game, with a demo now out displaying their contributions to Animalkind.

CUTE CREATURES, A VAST WORLD, AND A SICK MECH

Placed into a massive world, you take the role of a cute animal waking up in the wilds. You come across an ancient mech suit, hop in, and take it for a spin. How you use this mech is up to you, as you play about in this sandbox of a game.

Your mech suit grants you a wider range of motion than you would as a normal animal. Whether that’s by flying across the world or to gather resources, the suit is an incredible tool to make the world your own. What the suit is especially useful for though, is using it to create your own village.

All of the resources that you gather can be used to create a variety of buildings for the animals that live through out the world. This includes tending to farms to feed and care for your village’s residents. Add on the ability to customize a building’s interior and exterior, and you can build whatever you wish in this cozy experience!

• Explore the ever-evolving wilderness! Travel to dynamic wilderness areas with their own biomes, recruitable characters, and resources.
• Cozy co-op with your friends! Play solo, or invite up to 3 friends to be a part of your game and play seamlessly with our hosted, private servers.
