As a part of its initiative to make a better console, and one that would give its users maximum freedom, Microsoft announced several program additions that would come to Xbox Live.
First, it was announced that the ability to play background music would be coming. Also, the ability to select your primary language, regardless of where you are in the world, was revealed. Followed by the reveal of Cortana coming to Xbox Live.
To add to that, a special new tournament mode called Arena was revealed. Touted as the perfect way for players to test their skills without having to worry about connecting online via the games themselves.
Finally, special community groups called Clubs were revealed. These clubs will be numerous, and adhere to any particular fanbase whether it be a specific detail, or specific place for the fans to have come from.
All these features are said to be coming this year.
