E3 2016: PlayDead’s Inside Gets Release Date
Inside, the next game from the heralded developer PlayDead, who made the much beloved game Limbo, has finally gotten a release date of June 29 for Xbox One and July 7 on Steam, as ID@Xbox head Chris Charla announced at Microsoft’s 2016 E3 press conference.
Inside was actually announced at E3 2014, and was intended for a 2015 release, however, despite being in development for nearly five years, the game got pushed back. It appears to finally be heading towards the finish line with this definitive release date.
Charla even went so far as to call the game a “masterpiece” after his time playing it, and that he couldn’t wait for others to play it as well. You can check out the newest trailer for the game below.
