At E3, many were asking about Kingdom Hearts 3, and even Kingdom Hearts 2.8, which is both a recap of previous KH games and a teaser for what’s to come. In a chat with IGN, co-director Tai Yasue told IGN about the possibility of the previous compilation games Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5 Final Mix coming to PS4:
“We listen to our fans obviously so we’ll see what they think [about a collection] and we’ll come to a decision on that.”
He also noted that the company is exploring all options for the possible compilation, including a port over to Xbox One, who will be getting Kingdom Hearts 3:
“Right now we haven’t come to a decision on that,” explained Yasue when asked about that possibility. “Nothing’s been decided yet.”
