Drive-away Dolls official trailer
The trailer starts with Santos(Pedro Pascal) who seems to fear for his life as he holds a briefcase. An intimidating man asks him to give up his fate is unknown whether he got killed or not. Jamie(Margaret Qualley) is a Lesbian fresh from a break-up and ends up being a wallflower in a lively Lesbian Bar. She looks out of place in her office wear. No one wants to date her or ask her for a drink. Her Good friend Marian (Geraldine Viswanathan) thinks they should go on a road trip to Tallahassee. Marian wants to loosen up because she feels bored so that’s why she came up with this idea.
You cannot start a road trip without a car. So they go to a car rental operated by a middle-aged man named Carlie. They told the man they are going to Tallahassee and asked the man if his name is Carl instead of Carlie. Coincidentally they have no idea what they said is a password. Carlie was instructed that if someone told them they will go to Tallahassee, put Santos’ Briefcase in the car’s trunk. Carlie mistook the women as the gang members who will go to Tallahassee to deliver the goods. Which is the content of the Briefcase.
Now the two women have no idea their simple road trip will end up as a chase for their lives because of the content of that briefcase. Now there is a group of deadly criminals are after them because of the briefcase they didn’t even know they have.
If you want to know what is inside that briefcase, Drive-away dolls is coming to theaters this September 21, 2023.
