Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Set for 2016 Release
The Dragon Ball video game franchise will continue this year with Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2. Bandai Namco Games officially announced the sequel today, along with an announcement trailer. You can check out the preview below. The game is due out later this, and it will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC/Steam.
The game will feature enhanced graphics for the current generation of consoles. Per an official press release, the game will also feature a new hub city and new character customization choices. More details and features for the game will be released at E3 2016 later next month. In addition, Bandai Namco also announced that they will be hosting live demo theaters for the game during the conference.
Speaking on the announcement, Bandai Namco VP of Marketing Eric Hartness said in the release: “The Dragon Ball franchise is a crown jewel and a perennial fan-favorite of Bandai Namco Entertainment’s robust anime videogame portfolio and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will build upon that illustrious legacy. With Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, we’re working diligently with the Dimps team to pull out all the stops and push the Dragon Ball videogame experience to new heights.”
The official release date for Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 will be revealed later on.
