DOOM: Launch Trailer and PC Requirements
The new installment of the classic video game franchise DOOM is finally set to arrive next week. In light of that, Bethesda Softworks has launched the latest trailer for the game online right now. You can check out the new gameplay preview in the player below.
The new preview offers a bit of a greater look at the game’s story. It looks like the hero of DOOM comes out of some sort of coma or possibly suspended animation, as he has to take up arms against hte forces of hell yet again. The game is currently available to pre-load now for Xbox One. Gamers for the PC and PlayStation 4 versions can start pre-loading the game at 12:00 am EST on May 11. Doom is already available to pre-load on Xbox One. PC and PlayStation 4users will be able to pre-load the shooter starting at 12 AM EST on May 11. In terms of file size, console players will need at least 50 GB of free space. Here are the minimum and recommended PC system requirements.

- OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions).
- CPU: Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better.
- GPU: 8 GB RAM; 55 GB free HDD space; Nvidia GTX 670 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or better.
- Contains a single disc. Download of additional files from Steam (total amount 45 GB) is required to run the game.
- Requires Steam activation and broadband internet connection for multiplayer and SnapMap.

The game was developed by id Software. DOOM finally arrives on May 13. The game will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
