Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange: Upside Down TV Spot Released

Marvel Studios and Disney dropped the latest TV spot, featuring some new footage, for Marvel’s Doctor Strange, which finally arrives in the United States next week. You can check out the latest promo video featuring Marvel’s Sorcerer Supreme in the player below.

The latest video showcases how the film turns the world of not just Doctor Strange but also the audience upside, a question posed by The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) to Stephen Strange. There’s another look at the mind-bending visuals that will be showcases for the film, showing buildings and cityscapes bending and going in all sorts of different directions. It’s like the cities have become a painting by M.C. Escher.

The unique visual style that Doctor Strange appears to have could be one of its greatest assets. This looks quite different than anything Marvel Studios has really done before, and that could be a good thing. Doctor Strange could very well be the most unique story Marvel Studios has ever presented, and that could be a nice change of pace. It shows that not everything Marvel does is the same and they can do things that are different, such as the darker, edgier and more mature Netflix shows, or more blockbuster, popcorn-movie centric fare such as Captain America: Civil War or The Avengers.

Fans in the US will finally be able to experience the crazy visuals of Marvel’s latest film very soon. Doctor Strange arrives in theaters on November 4.
