Doctor Strange: Universes Within Video Released

Today marks the day that Walt Disney Studios and Marvel will be releasing a special IMAX 3D Sneak Peek of the upcoming Marvel Studios release, Doctor Strange. In celebration of that, Disney has released a new special “Universes Within” video for the upcoming film, which has some new footage. You can check out the new preview in the player below.

If they are still available, fans can still try and get tickets for today’s IMAX event, dubbed Marvel Studios Expand Your Mind: An IMAX 3D Exclusive First Look, at SeeItFirst.com.

The latest video for the upcoming comic book film has some new footage, and it actually provides a look at how the film will translate some of the trippy visuals from the original Doctor Strange comics of the 1960s that were drawn by legendary artist Steve Ditko. There’s one shot that appears to be Stephen Strange’s body being flung through some weird, psychedelic-looking realm. There’s also some new behind-the-scenes interview footage with producer Kevin Feige.

So far, it definitely looks like the film captures the spirit and tone of the character and the original comics. Marvel’s Doctor Strange arrives in theaters on November 4 in 3D, RealD 3D and IMAX 3D formats. The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Mads Mikkelsen, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, Scott Adkins, and Amy Landecker
