At the EA press conference today a new Star Wars Battlefront game was announced. Revealed in a short 20 second teaser, the game is to be developed by DICE, but presumably the new DICE studio in LA and not the Nordic DICE who make the Battlefield games.
The teaser seemed to show a player walking across a snowy region, most likely Hoth and saw a aircraft which looked like an Empire Strikes Back-era Snowspeeder crash to the ground. Other than the short trailer all we were shown was the logo, but we do know that the game will be built using the Frostbite 3 engine.
The game is presumably a next gen title but this is yet to be confirmed.

Expect more info on the new Battlefront over the course of this week.
Hopefully this one will make it to release.
I’m very hesitant to be excited for this given the history.
