Destiny: The Taken King Will Not Have King's Fall Raid at Launch
The upcoming expansion for Destiny, The Taken King, is huge in just about every explanation of the word. It has a massive amount of new gear and weapons for you to toy with, a new story that’ll have major connections to the main campaign of Destiny, and it will deliver new colossal moments. It will also have new ways to interact with your fellow players. However, one thing it won’t have when it launches is the biggest raid in Destiny history, the King’s Fall raid. This was revealed at PAX Prime during an interview with The Taken King director Luke Smith.
“Its not going to be available on day one,” The Taken King director Luke Smith told IGN during its live show at PAX Prime 2015. “We definitely have a plan for when it’s going to be available. I’m not going to announce the plan for it on the YouTube gaming stage.”
“But I promise for people who are excited about the raid will know when it’s time to take time off work. We’ll give em’ a heads up,” he added.
So this is a huge blow for players, as King’s Fall was something many players were looking forward to doing right off the bat. Hopefully, Bungie will unveil it’s release date soon.
Destiny: The Taken King launches on September 15 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
