Deadpool Blu-ray Special Features Revealed
20th Century Fox’s Deadpool movie will be available on Blu-ray and DVD later this year. This week, 20th Century Fox confirmed the Blu-ray special features, which you can check out below. Needless to say, it looks like there will be quite a bit of material to keep Deadpool fans satisfied, as the extras use “maximum effort.”
For starters, the film has two feature audio commentary tracks. One includes director Tim Miller and Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld. The other features screenwriter Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. There will also be deleted scenes that have optional audio commentary with Tim Miller as well. There will also be a gag reel, galleries and a “From Comics to Screen” feature, which will probably be a making of featurette. All in all it seems to have a nice amount of extras with the regular extras you would expect. Getting two audio commentary tracks is nice because the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Blu-ray release had none.
Deadpool arrives on Blu-ray and DVD on may 10. The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Ed Skrein, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller and Gina Carano. You can check out the images for the full list of extras and the Blu-ray release cover in the gallery below. Click on the thumbnails to see the full-size images.
