DC FanDome Will Return For A Second Year
Last year, with no public conventions to show off their creations, Warner Bros and DC decided to embrace the digital alternative with the creation of DC FanDome, a virtual convention with multiple streams of panels starring the cast and crew of current and upcoming DC movies and shows. Looks like it worked out well enough that they’re willing to try it again.
A second DC Fandome has been announced for October 16. “The epic global event is back!” DC bragged on their Twitter account this morning, embedding the message with a short text-based teaser containing the 1978 Superman score.

As for the question of what will be shown off this year, no one really knows yet. The individual panels have not been revealed, nor have they admitted which trailers could possibly make their debut. It’s a given that we should see something related to The Batman, the highest-profile DC release close to FanDome’s date. WB also has the Black Adam movie slated for later in 2021, and Aquaman 2 and The Flash set for early 2022. DC produces more than just movies though and there will probably also be panels on HBO Max shows like Harley Quinn (which has a third season in production now).
The nicest thing about DC FanDome is that it’s free. All you need to do to watch is load up the FanDome website and pick a stream to attend. We should learn more as the date of the event approaches. DC FanDome begins October 16, 2021.
