Last year Arc System Works released BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, a spinoff of the BlazBlue series featuring characters from Persona 4, Under Night In-Birth, RWBY, Arcana Heart, and BlazBlue itself. Now, to keep things from getting stale, they’re about to release an update that adds more characters…
Later this month, you’ll be able to play as (or against) Naoto Kurogane (BlazBlue), Teddie (Persona 4 Arena), Seth (Under Night In-Birth) and Heart Aino (Arcana Heart). They’re part of Character Pack 7, which will be automatically added to the game for anyone who owns the “All-in-One” DLC package. They also also be purchased separately for $9.99.
BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle features a dream-team roster of characters that have never before been gathered in a single 2D fighting game. Featuring fighters pulled from the BlazBlue, Persona 4 Arena, UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH EXE: LATE, Arcana Heart, and the RWBY universes, Cross Tag Battle‘s 2v2 tag based combat is perfect for fans of the genre.
On the same day that Character Pack 7 is issued, Arc System Works will be releasing Update 1.5 to the game….this update will not only prime the game’s code to receive the new characters, but adjust the balance to be more in line with the Arcade version of Cross Tag Battle.
These updates will go live on May 21, 2019. BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is available now for Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
