Arrow Video Reveals February Offerings
To say there are a lot of streamers out there right now is an understatement. One of the lesser-known options is Arrow Video, a company that specializes in distributing cult and indie cinema — usually on physical home video formats, but they’re now jumping on the bandwagon like everybody else. What can you get from Arrow Video’s streaming channel?
Lots of crazy things. Arrow shared with us their list of additions for February. They include Dave Made A Maze, a comedy about a frustrated artist who creates a fort in his house out of sheer boredom, but then gets lost and trapped in it. Dave Made A Maze stars Nick Thune and was directed by Bill Watterson (no, not that one).
There’s also A Ghost Waits, written and directed by Adam Stovall and starring MacLeod Andrews. In the film, a handyman is hired to renovate a broken-down house. He quickly finds out the reason no one’s interested in the house has nothing to do with its condition — it’s because a ghost is haunting the dwelling. The ghost doesn’t seem to be menacing, though…in fact he finds he has a lot in common with her. You can guess where it heads from there.
Arrow is also adding Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Landmine Goes Click, and Meatball Machine to the lineup. You can check out the video below for more info, or read the descriptions below that. Arrow Video costs $4.99 a month with a 30-day free trial.
A GHOST WAITS
Tasked with renovating a neglected rental home, handyman Jack (MacLeod Andrews) quickly finds out why the tenants keep leaving in droves – this house is haunted. The ghost in question is Muriel (Natalie Walker), herself employed from beyond the veil to keep the home vacant. Against the odds, Jack and Muriel find they have a lot in common… pulse notwithstanding. Having found a kindred spirit in an otherwise lonely existence, they must fight for their newfound affection as pressure mounts for them each to fulfill their “cross-purposes”.
DAVE MADE A MAZE
Meet Dave. Dave is stuck in a maze. A maze he made. Out of cardboard. In his living room…
