Armed with Controllers plays: Tekken Revolution

It’s the final day of the working week, which means it’s time for our Armed with Controllers Friday feature!

In today’s video, Fabs attempts to hold his own against a slew of mashers, pitbulls, turtles and pokers in Namco Bandai’s Tekken Revolution. Released exclusively for PlayStation 3 on June 11th via the PlayStation Store, this addition to the Tekken franchise is a free-to-play, watered-down version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 minus the tag team element – a brainchild of Katsuhiro Harada produced to attract a wider audience. The title features 14 characters, eight of which are playable from the start, and introduces a variety of new mechanics designed to help the less proficient player, such as Special and Critical Arts moves (whatever they are), and upgradable character stats. Oh, and did I mention it is free-to-play?

Anyone who has seen AwC’s ‘Fabs vs. The World’ videos before will know that this debonair Londoner is a dab hand at fighters, but how did he do against those who populate Tekken Revolution’s online lobbies? Let’s find out, shall we?
