“Another Miss Oh” is a 2016 Korean drama TV series, with 32 episodes, categorized as Romance and Comedy (Rom-Com).
SUMMARY: If it weren’t for high school yearbooks and being psychic, a jilted bride groom’s revenge plan would have been perfect! What? There are two women with the same name? How is that possible? I ruined the wedding of the wrong Miss Oh?
♦ She Left Me at the Altar!
In “Another Miss Oh”, Park Do-Kyung was the happiest man in the world. Until he wasn’t. He had met the love of his life, Oh Hae-Young. They were going to be married. Everything was perfect. The wedding decorations were magnificent. All the invited guests had arrived and were seated. Park Do-Kyung, the handsome bride groom was excited and waiting for his lovely bride to make her entrance. He waited. And he waited. And he waited. Until … he suddenly realized that she didn’t show up! Of course, he thought the worst. Something must have happened. He panicked, searched everywhere, could not reach her by phone, etc. As time passed he had to accept his reality. The woman he thought he was going marry ditched him at the altar on their wedding day! And now … for reasons which he can not explain. He keep having visions of a woman he has never seen before in his life. Is he psychic? Uhhh … ??? … sort of.
Oh Hae-Young … the other Oh Hae-Young. Not the one who ditched Park Do-Kyung. This woman is also named Oh Hae-Young and she was going to be married. Her situation wasn’t as bad as Park Do-Kyung. She never got to put on her wedding dress and walk down the aisle because her fiancé dumped her. It was a shock. She wasn’t exactly sure why but to save face she asked him if she could tell everybody else that she dumped him. It’s the least he could do for her. He agreed. Even though it was a lie, the other Miss Oh went around telling everybody that she dumped her boyfriend the day before the wedding and now she’s a happy free bird. Of course, she was miserable. But she wasn’t going to show it.
♦ He Dumped Me But I Don’t Know Why
The other Oh Hae-Young did her best to carry on, even though she just doesn’ understand why her fiancé dumped her. Meanwhile, Park Do-Kyung keeps seeing her in his visions. One day they meet and after that they continue having random meetings. She assured him their meetings were not intentionally planned by her. He asked her if she would agree to never bump into him again. She said yes! After all, the meetings were a coincidence and there is nothing going on between them. So what if she never sees him again.
What the other Oh Hae-Young didn’t know was that Park Do-Kyung is the one who ruined her wedding. You see he had heard that Oh Hae-Young was about to be married. He thought to himself: How dare she stand him up at the altar and then turn get married? He devised a revenge plan that would force the bridegroom to cancel the wedding plans. Oh yes! It was the perfect revenge. Until it wasn’t.
The Oh Hae-Young who was going to get married was NOT the Oh Hae-Young who stood him up at the altar. It was another Oh Hae-Young. WHAT?? What are the odds? His friend showed him the high school yearbook and would you believe it? There was an Oh Hae-Young and another Oh Hae-Young. The Oh Hae-Young he wanted to get his revenge is NOT the Oh Hae-Young he got revenge on. How on earth is he going to fix this?
It gets worse. The other Oh Hae-Young is the woman he keeps seeing in his visions.
Can it get even worse? Oh yeah! The other Miss Oh moves in right next door to him AFTER she had promised not to ever see him again. What are the odds? Her parents kicked her out and she had to find some place to live. How did she know the place she picked to rent was right next door to where he lived? You can’t plan this kind of stuff!!
He wants her to move. She’s like: “Are you kidding me?” First, her parents kicked her out without a warning and now he’s demanding that she go live somewhere else, as if she intentionally moved next door to him. This is so bizarre!!
- Why does their relationship seem so confusing?
- Is Park Do-Kyung ever going to tell her that he’s the reason she didn’t get married?
- Is the Oh Hae-Young he was supposed to marry, going to reappear?
- Does she think Park Do-Kyung will forgive her if she does?
- What about the guy the other Miss Oh was supposed to marry?
- Is he going to find out that his marriage plans were ruined by a faulty revenge plan?
There’s another Miss Oh???!! Who would have thunk it?!!

My personal rating is the same as the Viki viewers.
My late mother gave me an unusual name. I asked why she didn’t think of a more common name for me. She said I would thank her one day. Guess what? When I became an adult and realized that identity theft was rampant, I started thanking my mom every day. Having a unique name is a tremendous blessing. I have seen lots and lots of high school and university yearbooks and you will rarely find two students with the exact same name. It’s rare. But it can happen. When I realized the storyline for “Another Miss Oh” was a case of mistaken identity, I silently thanked my mom for the name she had given me AGAIN!! LOL.
