Agents Of Shield Star Reveals Why He Wasn’t In Marvel 10-Year Photo
Today, Marvel began an interesting campaign to celebrate 10 years of Marvel Studios films. This all began back with Iron Man back in 2008, and since then has grown to encompass many movies across many different Marvel properties. A special picture was released, called a “class photo”, that highlighted many of the actors, actresses, writers, and directors that helped make this all possible. However, there were many notable exclusions from this photo, including Agents of Shield star, and early MCU character, Clark Gregg.
Many have wondered why he wasn’t in the picture, especially he’s still employed as part of the MCU via Agents of Shield (which is indeed set in the universe). Well, Clark Gregg himself went to Twitter to lament how he didn’t have time for the photo, noting:
“So sad I couldn’t make this shoot. Honored to be part of MCU. I was proudly repping Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. at Madison Square Garden for New York Comic Con.”
This revelation proves that this photo was taken months ago, which is possibly why many actors and actresses aren’t a part of this. For example, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Jeff Bridges, Cate Blanchett, and more aren’t present. So just because the entire class isn’t there, doesn’t mean they weren’t invited. It’s likely they just couldn’t make it when the photo was being done.
