A New Trailer For The Dinner Party
The Dinner Party, the latest horror project from writer-director Miles Doleac (Demons, Hallowed Ground) was first announced last August. Today the trailer for the film was revealed. as well as a timeline for its release. The movie will be making the festival circuit rounds throughout the spring, followed by a general DVD and VOD release in the summer.
An up-and-coming playwright thinks he’s finally broken through when a group of wealthy financiers take interest in funding his play. Broadway could be in his future — or it could just be a setup because these guys are actually cannibals who invite struggling gullible writers to their mansion so they can eat them. Which do you think is more likely?
Miles Doleac says, “The Dinner Party is this delightfully weird, yet poignant piece of horror satire that presents itself as the twisted love child of “Eyes Wide Shut”, “Mother”, the “American Horror Story” anthology, and “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”. It’s unlike anything I’ve directed to date and certainly a departure from the recent work I’ve done in the realm of Southern Gothic. We’ve gone bolder this time around. We’re swinging for the fences.”
The Dinner Party stats Bill Sage, Lindsay Anne Williams, Jeremy London, Mike Mayhall, Alli Hart, Ritchie Montgomery and Doleac himself. It will be released this summer through Uncork’d Entertainment.
