Elizabeth Banks as the tiny one is perfect casting too, she’s got that sharp energy. Matthew Macfadyen stressed out is always watchable. I’m putting April 6 on my calendar.

Wait, so the guy’s big breakthrough is shrinking things and he thinks that’s going to help food supply? That makes zero sense. You’d need to make crops bigger or multiply them, not turn a sandwich into doll food. Feels like they just wanted a shrink-ray plot and didn’t think it through. Still, the couple competing with each other sounds fun. I’ll give the first episode a shot but I’m skeptical.

Loved the trailer vibe already. Lindy being a Pulitzer winner and now stuck tiny in her own house is such a good setup for arguments and funny moments. Les scrambling to reverse it while keeping his job is tense. Dollhouse replica is obviously for filming but it’s hilarious they didn’t even try to explain it. Peacock stepping up with originals like this is nice. Banks and Macfadyen together should be solid.

Why does every sci-fi romance need a ticking clock now? 30 days to un-shrink her or lose everything feels forced. But okay, I get it for drama. The serum in a toy train is ridiculous in a good way. I’m more curious how they handle the everyday stuff like her eating crumbs or him trying not to step on her. That’s where these shows live or die.

The dollhouse thing is so obvious for budget reasons but come on, at least give us one line about why he has it. Maybe he’s a collector or something. Anyway, shrinking food to solve world hunger is the dumbest science goal I’ve heard. Should be enlarging it. Still watching because tiny wife in giant kitchen fights sound entertaining as hell.

This has potential to be either really charming or super annoying. If they focus on the relationship and how being tiny changes everything between them, great. If it’s just slapstick “don’t squish the wife” jokes the whole time, I’ll drop it fast. Banks usually picks good projects though so fingers crossed.
