2 New Super Smash Bros. Games Announced
Nintendo has just revealed 2 new Super Smash Bros. games, one for the 3DS and one for Wii U. The new games will launch sometime in 2014 and both will be available digitally. Perhaps the biggest surprise during the announcement was the inclusion of Mega Man as a playable character. Appearing in his classic Blue Bomber iteration Mega Man showed off some of his moves that will be available to players in the games.
Also announced as a new playable character was “The Villager” from animal crossing, who has the ability to dig pits to trap enemies and cut down trees to damage them. Other characters that were confirmed are Mario (obviously) Pikachu, Bowser, Pit, Princess Peach, Samus Aran, Fox McCloud and Donkey Kong. As well as characters a number of stages were also confirmed to be in the game, these include locations based on games such as the Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, Mega Man, Animal Crossing, Nintendogs and more.
The gameplay shown appeared to remain true to the tired and tested formula, which is nothing to complain about. Neither of the games was given official titles or dates but more about the games is set to be revealed over the course of this week. The trailers for the games can be seen below.

This was the best part of the conference, which was a given, and I couldn’t be more excited for Mega Man.
