Zombi Goes Multi-Platform Starting Next Month
Ubisoft revealed today that one of the flagship Wii U titles of 2012, ZombiU, is now going multi-platform starting next month. Zombi will soon become available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The game is slated to have its multi-platform launch starting August 18. The game will be available as a digital download for the aforementioned platforms.
The game has been optimized for PlayStation 4, Xbox one and PC, using the latest hardware generation for the first-person, survival horror video game. The game is set in a dilapidated, zombie-infected London. The game will include the innovative features from ZombiU, including the bug-out bag, featuring all the important tools, inventory, maps and first aid kits necessary for survival. Also Permadeath is back, where players have to face a death mechanic that puts them in the body of a different survivor each time they die in-game.
Last month, it was reported that a new listing on the Australian Classification Board seemed to suggest that Zombi was being released on the Wii U. Today, Ubisoft proved those points correct, but also confirmed that the game was being re-released not just on Microsoft’s Xbox One, but also Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
