Y: The Last Man is a promising show with a lot of potentials to be great but it needs some fixing. The showrunners have the vision to make it a five-season show and I hope that dream will be realized. Fans of the source material waited for an adaptation for a long time. I won’t say the acting will win Emmys but it’s good enough to be watchable. Hulu dropped off the first three episodes on the show and I hope it is enough to build momentum. Hulu needs to give the show a chance to grow. If there is an improvement I want, it will be more facetime for Yorick, Agent 355, and Allison because they are the most important characters. They gave too much attention to Senator Jennifer Brown but Diane Lane is phenomenal as her. Jennifer became an important central character because she became an amalgamation of different characters.
Y: The Last Man deserves a chance despite the flaws.
Eliza Clarke take a risk by going for a slower phase for the sake of world-building. They sacrifice character development for the major characters to build the world. They introduce so many characters, not from the original material. The only one that stands out from the original new characters is Sam Jordan(. He became the voice of Reason to Hero (Olivia Thirlby) Those comic-gaters on Youtube accuse this show to be woke before even watching it but its not really a virtue signalling show. Its more about being Human than gender.
Ben Schnetzer is good enough to play Yorick but he needs some improvement because Yorick is a likable flawed character. I don’t mind some of the changes they did because it could lead to the adaptation surpassing the source material. The pilot episode gave justice to the first issue of the Graphic novel. The graphic novel is known for its humor too but the adaptation lacks in that department. I still hope for a second season because it’s a story that deserves to be on screen.

We write about tabletop game maker Free League a lot around these parts, and based on what they just announced, we don’t expect to stop anytime soon. They’ve acquired the Blade Runner license, which is basically printing money even if the game is bad (but that probably won’t be the
