Wreck-It Ralph

Wreck-It Ralph 2 Teaser Trailer Debuts

While it’s true that video game movies don’t always work, there are always exceptions. One of the best exceptions of all time was Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph. A story about an arcade character, born a villain, who doesn’t want to be one anymore. Seeing the world of video games (both arcade and non) depicted like this was really cool, and the film earned lot of praise, and lots of money, because of it. It’s taken quite a bit of time (over six years by the time the film comes out), but now, we have our first look at Wreck-It Ralph 2.

Subtitled “Ralph breaks the internet”, the movie focuses on Ralph and best friend Penelope Von Sweetz as they discover the vastness of the internet (which in and of itself advanced games in a big way). As we see in the teaser trailer below, Ralph and Penelope find themselves amazed by many of the things the Internet offers. Including, eBay (it’s like it’s looking into my soul), random articles meant to grab attention, and of course, video games.

But…as this is “Ralph Breaks The Internet”, things are going to go wrong, and we see just how wrong when Ralph accidentally does something very bad to a video game character.

The movie arrives this Thanksgiving.
