Comics are a funny thing, as sometimes you’d like to think about certain comic characters coming together, but it seems totally impossible for one reason or another. Yet, in recent years we’ve seen some of the most improbable team-ups ever happen. Batman and Green Hornet teamed up for the second time in history, then Batman met the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Justice League is currently teaming up with the Power Rangers,and now, Wonder Woman is about to meet Conan The Barbarian.
Yep, this is happening, but what makes this exciting is that this will be written by legendary comic writer Gail Simone, who has done runs with Wonder Woman so great that fans have been begging her to come back and do more with Diana, and now they got their wish. Oh, and she’s happy to do Conan too!
“I love crossovers, I love Wonder Woman, and being able to bring the undisputed greatest warriors of the DCU and Robert E. Howard’s Hyborian Age together for the very first time is a dream come true,” said Simone.
The mini-series will be six issues long, and the first issue will release September 20th. Here is the preview for that first issue:
