The Witcher 3 Update Patch 1.12 Goes Live
CD Projekt RED and community manager Marcin Momot have confirmed that the update patch 1.12 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has arrived today. Momot made the announcement via Twitter, which you can check out below. In addition, the full patch notes and changelog have made their way online as well. The update should be live now or arriving shortly.
The new update patch contains a number of fixes for performance issues and errors for the Hearts of Stone expansion. There are also various fixes for the main game, some DLC and the game’s living world, including other various quests and treasure hunts. In addition, the patch features other general game performance tweaks, fixes to balance issues and improvements.
In terms of the Hearts of Stone issues, players will be happy to know the latest patch repairs an issue where The Drakenborg Redemption and The Royal Air Force treasure hunts remained in the game Journal despite completion of all objectives. There is also a fix to the to Enchanting: Start-Up Costs quest, where it would remain in the Journal despite the Enchanter being paid the relevant amount. The two treasure hunt issues are definitely welcome improvements after personally experiencing those problems.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt recently took home the 2015 Game of the Year award. On top of that, it also received the award for Role-Playing Game of the Year, and CD Projekt RED captured the coveted Developer of the Year prize. In addition, The Witcher 3 has been a huge hit for CD Projekt RED, selling millions of copies around the world (via VGChartz.com).
There is still one more major expansion left for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with Blood and Wine. Release details have not yet been revealed for Blood and Wine, but they will hopefully be revealed soon.
