Uncork’d Entertainment has announced they’ll be releasing their next horror flick, which happens to be half courtroom drama, next month….Limbo.

Limbo is a dance where you bend backwards and slide under a pole, but it’s also the name of the jail our nameless character winds up in after committing several crimes including robbery, assault and the Big M. An inexperienced defense attorney has been hired to plead his case, and she doesn’t look enthused about the job. The prosecution can’t stop gloating about what a breeze today will be.

The man is now wondering just how he got to Limbo because he doesn’t remember being taken there. Ready for the twist? It’s literally limbo (not the dance). He’s on trail to determine if he should go to hell or not. He probably should have noticed the horns coming out of that lawyer’s forehead.

Limbo was written and directed by Mark Young. It stars James Purefoy (“Pennyworth”), Scottie Thompson (“12 Monkeys”), Richard Riehle (Transformers: Age of Extinction), Lew Temple (Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood), Mandela Van Peebles (Jigsaw) Rebekah Kennedy (“Criminal Minds”), and in a surprise appearance, Veronica Cartwright….Lambert herself. Get outta there, Dallas! Run, Dallas!

You’ll be able to visit Limbo August 4 on DVD and digital platforms, courtesy of Uncork’d Entertainment.
