Players of the Uncharted 3 beta will notice upon selecting matching making today new game modes. All the co-op game-modes have been re-added including co-op adventure and co-op Arena. Another surprise is that Yemen is now up and running again. Yemen was taken down early in the beta due to some issues with the map. Co-op adventure also has a new maps called Syria. As another treat Elena is now a playable character.

I’m a bit confused by what Naughty Dog is doing. In their email about the schedule to what was playable in the BETA does not match up with what is actually available.
This is what the email says for me:
7/5 – 7/9
Gametypes: Team Deathmatch, Free-For-All, Team Objective, Hardcore and Co-Op Hunter
Maps: Airstrip and Chateau
7/10 – 7/14
Gametypes: Team Deathmatch, Plunder, Three Team Deathmatch, Hardcore, Co-Op Adventure and Co-Op Arena
Maps: Airstrip and Yemen
Obviously, Plunder was already available before 7/10 and Free-For-All wasn’t. I don’t mean during the early access either because I understand that is completely different. Also, if you are saying Yemen and Syria are the new maps, then that is off as well.
Syria is a map included in co-op adventure, while Yemen is a new map included in all the competitive based modes.

Sorry Wampdog29. If i have confused you in any way then it’s my fault. I’ll clear things up now from what i have been playing allmorning.
Yemen is a new competitive map. Syria is a new Map that comes with the new Co-Op adventure Mode. This is the last stage of the beta i believe and all maps are playable now including Chateau (Not mentioned in the email). They may be still in the process of updating, but everything i stated above is true. Yemen is now available along with Syria. Elena is a surprise character, but only playable in Co-OP adventure.
LOL I didn’t mean you confused me. What I was confused about is the email Naughty Dog/Sony sent out does NOT match what is available in the game.

No that does NOT answer my question. In fact, I wasn’t really asking a question because my confusion can only be fixed by Naughty Dog or Sony.
In the first week plunder was broken so they put in Free for all and switched them the following week.
