Towers Of Aghasba Coming To Steam

Game studio Dreamlit Inc. is publishing their own game — a rather unique one. Half open world exploration, half management sim, it’s called Towers Of Aghasba and it’ll arrive on Steam soon.

In Towers Of Aghasba, you’re put in charge of an entire island. Part of your goal is to establish a settlement and keep that small community healthy and thriving, but the other half involves taking care of the island itself and all the creatures who were there before you. Dreamlit says their inspirations included Animal Crossing and The Legend of Zelda, and you can definitely see the influence of both, along with the worlds of Studio Ghibli for the exotic environments of the islands. As in AC, it’s possible to connect with friends and visit their own islands as well.

• EXPLORE | Climb to jaw-dropping vistas, befriend bizarre creatures, and uncover the rich history of the sacred island Aghasba.
• BUILD | Plan sprawling villages, customize your buildings and watch your settlements come to life as they’re inhabited by members of the Shimu tribe.
• GROW | Bring life back to a devastated land. Nurture the growth of living, breathing ecosystems composed of fantastical flora and fauna.
• TOGETHER | Visit your friends’ unique islands to get ideas for how to develop your own. Or invite everyone to your island to explore, harvest, or just hang out together!
