Among gamers, the debates and controversy over games running at 1080p and 30fps for the PlayStation 4 over 1080p and 60fps or 900p/30fps for the Xbox One continue to rage on. Well it appears, a PC game running at 4K resolution might have all those arguments beat, if a recently released screenshot of The Wticher 3: Wild Hunt is any indication. You can check out the full 4K resolution image from the Windows PC version of the upcoming video game by clicking on the thumbnail below.
CD Projekt Red developer Marcin Momot released the image on his Twitter account. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will reportedly only run at 1080p/30fps for the PlayStation 4 and 900p/30fps for the Xbox One (via GamingBolt.com). The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt looks like a game that will push the envelope a great deal for the franchise in terms of graphics and RPG mechanics. However, based on the 4K resolution image, it looks like the PC version will have the highest level of detail and clarity for the game as far as graphics are concerned. Of course, your PC will need a 4K resolution monitor to enjoy the game at that resolution.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt finally hits the shelves on May 19 after some numerous delays. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
