The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt 'A Night to Remember' Launch Cinematic Online
If you can truly believe it, the ultimate, long-awaited launch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now just days away. For the next five days, players will have to continue waiting and counting down the hours. However, CD Projekt Red has unleashed another video for the game online. Titled “A Night to Remember,” the latest video is the launch cinematic for the upcoming sequel in CD Projekt Red’s Witcher video game franchise.
To be clear, the new cinematic trailer does not contain actual gameplay footage. It is a new extended cinematic trailer to give players a portrayal of what the game is all about when witcher and monster hunter, Geralt of Rivia, takes on a contract to hunt a monster. The video is like a nice short film. It starts with a beautiful woman standing outside a quaint cabin observing the moonlit horizon. The woman is singing a beautiful but haunting lullaby. She is then approached by Geralt, and the woman starts to disrobe. It is then clear that the woman is not an innocent bystander but a malevolent creature of the night, and Geralt has accepted a contract to hunt and kill her. A knockdown, drag out and awesome brawl between Geralt and the witch-like monster hag ensues.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set in a completely open-world sandbox and puts players in the boots of the monster slayer Geralt of Rivia. Geralt is looking for the Child of Prophecy, Siri, a living weapon who has the power to alter the shape of the world. In addition, Ciri will be the game’s second playable character. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt hits the shelves on May 19 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
