The Witcher 3 Patch 1.10 Notes Revealed
Next week, CD Projekt Red will be dropping the first major downloadable content expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with Hearts of Stone. However, the developer will first released a major game patch, Patch 1.10, for the game. This will be a rather large patch that will even add some additional content and dialogue options for the game. Today, CD Projekt RED revealed all the notes and log for the various fixes and changes for Patch 1.10. All together, there are over 600 changes in this massive patch. You can find the full list of patch notes for the game HERE.
The patch will feature various fixes, quest corrections and numerous optimizations to improve the game’s performance on PC and consoles. In addition, CD Projekt RED claims that Patch 1.10 will have over 150 improvements to game stability, new conversations with key characters that will enhance Geralt’s relationships with those characters and the story as a whole. There is also supposed to be some major and much-awaited fixing to the item order and sorting in the game Inventory.
If you look at the patch log, there is one very noticeable omission. Currently, there is a DLC quest for The Witcher 3, Skellige’s Most Wanted, that has a major glitch that keeps players from actually completing the quest. This quest has been broken for months and has yet to be fixed. In a patch with over 600 changes and fixes, it is very disappointing that CD Projekt RED has not addressed a game-breaking glitch that keeps players from finishing a quest.
In terms of download size, Patch 1.10 will be quite hefty. According to a tweet by community manager Marcin Momot (available below), the latest patch will have a download size of 15 GB on consoles and between 6-15 GB on Windows PC, depending on platform.
Also, Momot posted on the CD Projekt RED forums that Patch 1.10 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt “is right around the corner and should be here in a matter of days.” So it should be ready to go just in time for the launch of The Witcher: Hearts of Stone expansion on October 13. The expansion will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
