The Dark Meadow heading for Android in early 2012
The Dark Meadow, one of the best looking mobile games, has announced an early 2012 release date for Android. The Dark Meadow will be coming to Android fully optimized for the quad-core Tegra 3 SOC; meaning the Android version will be able to push the Unreal Engine 3 to new heights with better visuals and features. The Android launch will also see the unveiling of new game modes, levels, and additional characters.
If you haven’t heard of The Dark Meadow before, it is an exciting first-person, action adventure game whose story line contains a beautiful witch bent on destroying the world with her minions. Your only job, if you’re up to it, is to slay the witch and save the world.
An excerpt from the press release:
“The response we’ve received since launching The Dark Meadow has been incredible. It’s clear that mobile players want console-style production values in their games,” said Chip Sineni, Director at Phosphor Games Studios. “We’re very excited to work with NVIDIA on incorporating Tegra 3’s quad-core power and give Android owners an unrivaled visual experience to add to our new game modes, levels and characters.”
