The Batman Trailer
The Batman just dropped it’s first its first trailer after a series of Teasers. This film has gone through delays because lead because of some Covid Cases on the set but all that challenge is worth it. Robert Pattinson proves his haters wrong because he sparkled on this trailer. He can pull off the acting chops to play a character as dark and serious as Bruce Wayne. He has been trying to move away from the stigma caused by Edward Cullen and this is the role he needed. Pattinson indeed becomes The Batman.
This film will tackle Bruce Wayne’s early years as The Batman. Pattinson can pull off playing a younger Bruce Wayne. The Villains of the film will be the Riddler (Paul Dano), The Penguin (Paul Dano) and Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz) Director Matt Reeves wanted a more grounded film just like the Christopher Nolan Batman films. Choosing more grounded villains is more realistic for a young Bruce Wayne who just started his Superhero career. So we won’t be seeing Zany villains like Poison Ivy, Man-Bat, or Clayface any time soon.
I didn’t recognize Colin Farrell with his makeup and prosthetics. Fans also thought he was a miscast to play the Penguin but his transformation is uncanny in a good way. He looked like a different person and sounded like one too, I can’t see any trace of Colin Farrell. Farrell is under a lot of pressure because He has to defy expectations because at this moment. Many fans think no one can top Danny Devito’s portrayal of The Penguin.
Zoë Kravitz looks gorgeous as Selena Kyle. Her Pixie cut hair is a tribute to Catwoman’s current incarnation in the comics. I just wish she wears a mask or cat ears because she is unmasked the whole trailer.
