Terminator Reboot Already In Works
The Terminator franchise has had it rough for quite some time. After the initial two movies were met with great praise, some even calling them some of the greatest sci-fi films of all time to this day, the next three Terminator films weren’t as well liked. Rise of the Machines, Salvation, and the recent Genysis failed to connect with viewers, and because of that, the Terminator series seemed to be on the shelf.
However, a producer for the recent films, David Ellison, has told Collider that a reboot, another one, is possibly on the way, and it could even be announced later this year.
“I will say we have resolved the future of the franchise and, believe me, it’s an incredibly bright future,” said David Ellison, the CEO of Skydance Media, producer of the series. “I think where it’s going will be the continuation of what the fans really wanted since T2.
“We have something this year that we will be announcing for the franchise. It’s something we’re incredibly excited about and we think is the direction it needs to head.”
We’re not sure what to make of this, and even if we did, it’s too early to speculate on anything. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

They just rebooted it and it failed.
