Jonathan Majors Officially Dropped From The MCU
If you’re one of the folks who have been annoyed that Disney hasn’t acted appropriately following the list of allegations against actor Jonathan Majors, your wait is over. A guilty verdict was handed down for Majors this morning, and almost immediately afterward, Marvel announced the actor would no longer be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A jury on Monday found Majors guilty of domestic abuse, one count of assault and one count of harassment. His arrest happened last March and the fallout was immediate: his agent dropped him, two motion pictures he was slated to be in recast their roles, and an ad campaign he was supposed to film for the Texas Rangers let him go. Everyone except Disney, who curiously remained silent and kept putting out things they’d already filmed with Majors in them.
