In a fun turn of events, the official trailer for Suicide Squad has been officially released online. During the DC/WB movie panel, in which they revealed numerous details about their upcoming movies, they also revealed the first trailer for Suicide Squad. However, the trailer was not released online like with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Unfortunately, a fan in the audience filmed the entire Suicide Squad trailer with their phone, then uploaded it for all to see. Naturally, it wasn’t high quality, nor shot from the front of the screen, but many fans rejoiced because they got to see it. DC was not so happy about it, but they ended up releasing the Suicide Squad trailer today to show everyone what they missed in full HD.
Ayer will direct the film, which stars Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Hernandez as El Diablo, and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress. Viola Davis will play Amanda Waller.
Suicide Squad will release on August 5th, 2016. Enjoy the trailer below!
