Stealth-Action RPG Disjunction Launches January 28
Sold Out and Ape Tribe Games will be releasing Disjunction onto modern platforms later this month. It’s a sci-fi cyberpunk RPG where you control three different characters as they seek answers behind a secret conspiracy in 2048 New York City.
You choose how you want to save the city: either sneak around corridors and gather evidence while avoiding detection, or pull out your futuristic weaponry and go through your enemies to find the truth. The choices you make will shape the storyline, and we don’t just mean passive vs aggressive: you’ll have branching options along the way, like factions you can choose to either destroy or convince to join your team.
“We are massive fans of classic stealth-action games and ultramodern fast-paced shooters, and have put our all into combining the two genres in Disjunction,” said Erwan LeCun, Co-Founder of Ape Tribe Games. “Disjunction is our love letter to cyberpunk, and we hope that the game’s conspiracy-laden narrative and stylistic visuals will appeal to fans of the genre, while giving them the choice to engage in strategic stealth gameplay or brutally fast combat.”
“Disjunction is a fantastic title that we know will be a firm favourite for fans of sci-fi and cyberpunk,” added Vincent Coates, Product Manager at Sold Out. “We can’t wait for players to discover the cybernetic future very soon.”
A playable demo introducing players to Disjunction’s cybernetic future is currently available to download on Steam. The full game will be out January 28.
