Star Wars: Force Friday 2 Begins in September
Disney and Lucasfilm officially announced recently that there will be another Force Friday event for Star Wars merchandise, which will be Force Friday II. The global fan event celebrating the launch of new products and toys for the next Star Wars sequel, Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to start on September 1, 2017 at 12:01 a.m.
For the upcoming film, there will be new toys, collectibles, books, apparel and other merchandise going on sale at that time. Speaking on the news Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media Chairman Jimmy Pitaro stated: “The first Star Wars Force Friday event was truly unique, uniting fans across five continents in an unprecedented global live unboxing event ahead of thousands of midnight openings at retail. We’re excited to confirm that Star Wars Force Friday is back for ‘The Last Jedi’. Plans for this year’s world-wide event are top secret but expect something befitting the excitement around the next episode of the Star Wars saga.”
Closer to the event, Lucasfilm and Disney will be releasing more details for the upcoming product launch. Additionally, the new toys for The Last Jedi are going to be kept secret until the upcoming event so fans will be surprised for the new items.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will arrive in theaters on December 15, 2017. Force Friday II kicks off on September 1, 2017.
