Electronic Arts and DICE have released the new Star Wars Battlefront gameplay video that was originally released at the Electronic Arts Press Conference for E3 2015. The new gameplay video is available in the player below.
The footage was captured from the PlayStation 4 and has footage from the Hoth stage in the game. The perspective switches between that of the Imperial forces and the Rebel Alliance, going from troopers to AT-AT Walkers to Rebel Snowspeeders to Tie Fighters. In addition, the video provides a look at how players may take control of both Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker, in his Return of the Jedi garb, during the battle.
The Walker Assault stage can feature a staggering amount of players at once with 40 total, where the players can play as a Rebel or an Imperial. In the stage, the Imperials are out to destroy the Rebel shield generator and base, while the Rebels have to destroy the onslaught of AT-ATs.
Star Wars Battlefront will hit the shelves on November 17. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The first DLC for the game, featuring the Battle of Jakku from Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, will be available on December 8 (December 1 for those who pre-order the game).
