Activision has released a new extended gameplay video for Call of Duty Black Ops III showcasing the game’s co-op campaign experience. The extended presentation was also shown to attendees this week at the Electronic Entertainment Expo at the Activision booth. The video is available in the player below.
The video begins with a Cyber Core Tutorial followed by an extended cut from the Ramses Station mission. The footage from the video was captured directly from the PlayStation 4. The Cyber Core tutorial shows off the new player abilities for the future of warfare and combat where soldiers have become highly cybernetic weapons of war. The co-op video showcases players working together by embedding spikes in the ground of enemy terrain, which are then detonated to level the area. The soldiers then go on a mission to rescue some soldiers from a downed aerial unit. The footage does seem to feature some more traditional cutscenes and some actual voice-overs from the protagonist. The co-op experience will feature cinematic moments and open-area gameplay, where players have to approach the game with a different strategy on each gameplay session. However, the four-player co-op experience will only be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC versions of the game.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III is scheduled for a Friday, November 6 release. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. Players can get access to the Beta version of the game by pre-ordering it online.
