Spy x Family Returns For Third Season October 4

Boy, it’s been a long wait for Spy x Family fans. The series hasn’t run a new episode since early 2023, though there was a movie in between then and now to tide people over. Crunchyroll broke the silence this week with the reveal that we will finally see Anya Forger’s trademark smug expression again in less than a month’s time.

The general situation of the series has remained the same: Loid is a world-class spy, but he’s undercover as a fake family man. He has no idea the woman who agreed to pose as his wife is undercover herself as a master assassin. They both don’t know the child they adopted is a telepath who can read their minds and knows both their secrets. Also, their dog can see into the future!

If there’s a Big Event in store for this season, the trailer doesn’t share it. The clips are mostly hijinks revolving around Anya, like the thing she does with the hamburger (wait’ll you see it). In addition Crunchyroll released a whole lot of promotional posters, which can be viewed below the trailer.

The third season premiere of Spy X Family goes live on the Crunchyroll app October 4. Note that the premiere day is for the sub version with Japanese audio only. Spy x Family launched its first season with a simuldub, but Crunchyroll hasn’t done that since, electing for a staggered release instead. Those who prefer the dub version in their language of choice will have to wait a few weeks. There is currently no announced release date for the dub of Season 3.

I have never laughed as much as when I watch Anya do something silly, so knowing the show is back is great news. The wait was long, and the movie helped, but it is not the same as weekly episodes. I like that the series keeps the same situation with the secret identities; it is clever how they all hide things from each other while still forming a family. I do wish Crunchyroll would give more information about the big events, because I am curious about how the story will develop. The posters look nice, but I prefer watching the actual episodes to understand the context. I will mark my calendar for October 4.

Finally! I am really happy that Spy x Family is returning. The mix of spy story and family comedy is unusual, and it works very well. I like the way each character has a secret, and yet they are forced to act like a real family. Anya is my favorite because she is smart but also funny, and I always enjoy her reactions. I do not mind watching in Japanese first because the voices feel natural, and it is nice to hear the original actors. I am curious about how Loid and Yor will handle their missions this season. I hope there will be more moments that show them growing closer as a family.

I like shows that mix humor and suspense, and Spy x Family does both in a good way. The news about the third season coming back in October makes me want to rewatch the first two seasons. Anya’s telepathy is always interesting because it shows us what she is thinking, and sometimes it is more than the adults know. I am not sure I like waiting for the dubbed version, but I think I can manage. The dog being able to see the future is also very strange, but it adds charm. I am excited to see what small adventures they have this season and how the story moves forward.

I have been following Spy x Family since the first season, and the wait for new episodes was long. I like how the story mixes secret identities with family life, and how Anya’s telepathy adds humor and insight. The premiere being in early October gives me something to look forward to. I wish there was a simuldub, but I think watching the Japanese audio first is acceptable. I am curious to see what small adventures the family will have, and I hope the writers keep the tone consistent with previous seasons. I am also interested in seeing if the dog’s future visions play a larger role this time.

I am very excited about the third season of Spy x Family. The show always gives me a mix of laughter and curiosity because of the family dynamics and secrets. I love Anya’s character, and her expressions are always entertaining. I understand why the dub is not ready yet, but I will watch the sub version. The trailer shows mostly small funny moments, but I am looking forward to seeing if there are any serious events hidden in the season.

I have watched Spy x Family multiple times, and I enjoy it more every time. The story is clever, and the characters are well made. I am very happy that the third season has a date now. I plan to watch the sub version first, because I want to hear the original voices. I like the idea of the family having secrets and a child who knows everything. The dog that sees the future is unusual, but it adds to the comedy. I hope the new episodes continue the balance of humor, action, and family moments.

I like Spy x Family because it is fun but also smart. I enjoy following the missions while watching the family interact. The news about the third season makes me excited, because it has been a long wait. I am not worried about the dub delay, because I usually watch sub anyway. I want to see more of Anya doing funny things, and I hope there are surprises in the season. I also want to see more about how Loid and Yor handle their secret lives while pretending to be normal parents. It is interesting how the show combines comedy and action.
