Spy x Family Blu-Ray Announced For June

Spy x Family, one of our favorite anime to debut last year, will finally become physical this summer. Crunchyroll has announced a Blu-Ray set for SPY x FAMILY PART 1, which will contain the first twelve episodes of the show along with bonuses like footage of a con panel featuring the English dub cast, interviews with the Japanese cast, and of course, the inevitable Textless Closing Sequence. There will also be a DVD version of the release.

Spy x Family follows expert secret agent Twilight, who’s on a mission to protect the world that involves posing as a family man. When you’re an elite spy, you have no room in your life for anything else, so he’s forced to fake it by quickly adopting a daughter and then convincing a woman he runs into at the store to pose as his wife. What Twilight doesn’t know is that his “wife” is actually an assassin who agreed to the sham marriage so HER cover wouldn’t be blown. Not only that, the kid he adopted is a telepath who can read their minds, and knows all of this!

Crunchyroll has other physical releases planned for June, including the complete first season of My Senpai Is Annoying, Skeleton Knight in Another World, Aaoshi Season 1 Part 2,  Platinum End – Part 2 and others.
