Sony Welcome Back Program exploit allows you to have all games
Well today Sony launched their welcome back program in both US and EU. Users are able to download 2 PSP and 2 PS3 games from a list of 5 games per console along with a free month of PS+. However, an exploit has appeared allowing users to download all the free games.
If your a PS3 owner with Online, then chances are that you have multiple PS3 accounts. All that you have to do is log-in on the other accounts and begin downloading. This works across all regions, meaning if your from the USA and want some games from EU then you can.
This also allows you to get games not available for free in your region.
With EU PS+ your allowed to get additional games such as Burnout Paradise and Street Rage 2.
Along with a handful of PSN Avatars for your EU account.
The account must have been created before the whole PSN hack incident in order to work. Whether Sony will fix this is still unknown.

Kind of. It was thought that Sony would put some sort of activations per console early before or even be Region specific locked. Plus a lot of users were wondering what 2 games to get, this is just so they know they can get them all if they had any other accounts before hand.

you must be paranoid, it’s not an exploit man. It wasn’t thought of anything about any activation, you are just making stuff up and assuming they would.
it doesn’t matter if people download all games, the losers are the gamers and winners Sony because Sony are not losing much money from those downloaded games. They already gave Wip3out HD Fury for free previously so why should they cry if others download it?
also many still wouldn’t download those games because they are not interested in them, not to forget people scavenging for hdd space.

i think one of the terms of the welcome back package is that you can only download these with a master account.

That would suck. I’m not to interested in any of the games they are giving us free. In my option, They are only giving us 30 days of Plus free, Cuase they are trying to get more people signed up. And Only reason they are giving us Super Stardust HD, Dead Nation & Wipeout HD, is cuase they didn’t sell well when they was released. And Infamous came out what 3-4 years ago.
But, My son likes like Little Big Planet. That’s why I was asking about downloading it on his account. Would suck if he could take part of this package.
In my option, I think sony should just give us $50 on our accounts, And give us two disc games of our choice. Like xino said, They are losing nothing by giving us them games they picked, They are all Sony made games. So, They don’t have to pay anyone else.

I would say it is an exploit, mostly because technically it should be on one PS3. I think Sony just didn’t care since they were in a rush to get everything back to normal.
Btw, anyone else having issues accessing the store?

I wouldn’t necessarily call this an exploit. They just have to be valid PSN accounts created before the downtime.
