Minecraft developer, Jens Bergensten, yesterday teased the possibility of skinnier player models for Minecraft. “Testing a possible feature for the future,” said Bergensten in a twitter post.
On twitter, Bergensten presented us with screenshots of a side-by-side comparison of the current Minecraft player models and the newer, skinnier models. These models are different by merely one pixel of thickness on the arms. Previously four pixels, the newer arms are brought down to only three pixels, which may work better with some Minecraft skins. The ability to play with the current models or the skinnier ones will be optional.
